Garden & Grounds of Colony Cove

Garden & Grounds

One of the most appealing parts of Colony Cove is its grounds & gardens – the above ground ones as well as the underwater gardens.

In the central gardens and all around the property you will find many varieties of plants and flowers. Most plants are indigenous to the area. You’ll also find a variety of fruit & vegetable trees such as banana, coconut, and avocado.

Underwater Gardens

The beach is just outside the poolside gate. Grasses wash up on the beach every day and are cleaned up routinely. The beach is considered public property, and is often shared with locals and other visitors from nearby resorts. You can snorkel right off the beach and see several varieties of fish. To the left and in front of Mill Harbor is a sunken tire reef, which is home to many species of beautiful tropical fish. If you’re lucky you’ll spot a manta ray or eagle ray as they glide by.
